An October Baby Shower.

The invitation (tinyprints.com) and inspiration for the theme.

A handmade yarn-wrapped wreath greeted guests at the door.

Handmade stuffed owl perched in a nest in the entryway.

Handmade owl pillow for baby Clara.

I found this wooden art piece in bad shape at Goodwill for $1.50. The background was a heinous, glossy, orangey wood. After some sanding, painting, distressing, antiquing, and a cute ribbon addition, it was good as new.

Homemade owl cupcakes.

A snippet of the handmade owl garland.
I don't have any great pictures of it, unfortunately.

Japaneses lanterns (lunabazaar.com) and handmade orange puffs hung over the gift table.

Homemade owl cookies for guests to take home.

All of the handmade decorations doubled as gifts and were sent home with the expectant mama to decorate the baby's nursery!

Drew.

I also made navy blue and green wide-striped leggies to go with this...but didn't take a picture.

For the son of a golferman.

 All teed up.

Appliqued golf ball (sitting a tad low on the tee in expectation of the ball edge fraying a bit) and embroidered grass.

D is for Drew.

Every little man needs a good bow tie.

  All together now.

And since he's the newest Big Man in the fam, I had to make these for him too.
Too bad I didn't use something cuter than a paper towel for the background.

For my BFF.

A wreath for her super chic kelly green door.

He's a stinker...

...so I made him a shirt.

Khaki and Clara.

Necklace with bow + stripey leggies.
Inspired by Raechel's necklace onesie tutorial.

Necklace with bead on bow + dotty leggies.

Little monogram bead.

 C is for Clara.

and Clara has ruffles on her bum.

 K is for Khaki.
